Program Overview


The Healthcare Specialist program prepares students for entry into a variety of healthcare careers through hands-on training, certifications, and foundational healthcare coursework. Students develop skills in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, nutrition, clinical skills, phlebotomy, IV therapy, and health information technology while earning certifications including Certified Nurse Aide and Home Health Aide. The program provides exposure to multiple areas of healthcare, preparing students for both immediate employment and continued education in the medical field.
