Donor Support Strengthens the Future of Fort Hays Tech | Northwest

Goodland, KS. (02/11/2026)  – Private donors continue to play a vital role in the success and sustainability of Fort Hays Tech | Northwest. As recent state and federal funding cuts have created new challenges for higher education, donor support has become more important than ever in ensuring students have access to quality programs and opportunities.

Gifts to the College provide critical funding for academic programs, scholarships, athletics, campus beautification, and student success initiatives. Recent donor generosity led to the establishment of new endowments, including scholarship funds that will provide long-term financial assistance to students pursuing their educational goals.

The impact of these gifts was amplified through the Dane G. Hansen Foundation match initiative. By matching contributions, the Dane G. Hansen Foundation significantly increased the total value of these endowments, accelerating their growth and expanding their long-term benefit. The matching opportunity also inspired additional giving, encouraging donors to maximize the impact of their contributions.

Thanks to the generosity of donors and the Dane G. Hansen Foundation, these endowed funds will provide lasting support for students and strengthen Fort Hays Tech | Northwest for years to come.
