  • Hi Plains News - Goodland Star News Colby Free Press 

    We are seeking a reliable, hard-working, and mechanically inclined individual to join our growing team in Goodland, Kansas.

    Our press operation runs a Goss Community 2-tower press, and you’ll be working alongside an experienced and supportive crew.

    Position Details:
    Morning and day shifts available
    No weekend work
    Competitive pay based on experience and performance

    Qualifications:
    Mechanical aptitude required
    Pressman experience preferred, but not required
    Willingness to learn and be trained on the job
    We are happy to train the right candidate who is motivated and eager to develop new skills.

    Compensation:
    Salary is based on experience.

  • High Plains News is a newspaper group offering a number of openings in our growing press operation at our Goodland, Kansas office. Multiple positions are available.

    Description
    High Plains News is a regional newspaper covering northwest Kansas. The ideal candidate is dependable and hard-working.

    Responsibilities
    Assisting our pressman with printing of newspapers.
    Labeling and stuffing newspapers.
    Potential opportunities for delivery drivers.

    Preferences:
    Familiar with northwest Kansas area.
    Collaborative spirit that is displayed through inter-departmental work and communication.

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

    Compensation Package:
    Commission pay
