Fort Hays Tech | Northwest, a two-year, technical college, located in the high plains of Goodland, Kansas, is seeking a qualified full-time instructor to teach various levels of math with the primary focus on face-to-face Technical Math.  Instructor will also provide oversight and support in the Math lab for all levels of Math and have some online teaching duties.

As a member of the College faculty, an instructor will be expected to participate in division and college-wide activities. A successful candidate must demonstrate an understanding of the mission of a rural technical college and have experience teaching in a diverse environment. They must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.

A Master’s degree in Math from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning is preferred; however, equivalent experience could be evaluated. Prior instructional experience is a plus. The College offers a competitive salary and benefits package and is part of the state KPERS retirement system.

We have a small, diverse campus, with a student body of approximately 400 full-time students pursuing degrees and technical certificates.
