The Precision Agriculture Technology department is seeking a full-time faculty member. This program encompasses a combination of classroom, shop, and field teaching environments where students acquire the skills necessary to succeed in today’s competitive high-tech agricultural industry.
Applicants should also have working knowledge of various modern precision agricultural technologies and practices, including, but not limited to: basic farming operations, mechanical systems, plant and soil science, geospatial science, soil sampling, tractor guidance systems, VRA planting/fertility systems, GPS systems, RTK/RTX correction systems, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), farm management software, digital tractor/farm data, prescription maps, satellite imagery, remote sensing (IR/Thermal/LiDAR), Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), Electromagnetic (EM/EC) soil mapping, irrigation management technologies, computer systems, software/application systems, electronics, etc.
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Previous teaching experience and additional two-year tech degree are pluses. Estimated Start Date: August 1, 2025. Position will remain open until filled.
